KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City doctor remains in critical condition after a hit-and-run last week.
Dr. Saswat Das was biking near 39th Street and Harrison Parkway when the driver of a car hit him and left the scene.
His family members tell FOX4 that since that day, there has been an overwhelming amount of support from people who know Das.
“As a family, we are very aware of how outgoing and friendly he is, but seeing the support, we're like, Wow, we weren't aware just how much of an impact he's had,” his cousin Sanjna Pradhan said.
Das moved to Kansas City in July to start his fellowship as a pediatric cardiologist at Children's Mercy.
