CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Citadel has been ranked as the “Best Regional University in the South” by US News and World Report for the second year in a row.

The Military College of South Carolina was chosen out of more than 100 public and private institutions across 12 states. Additionally, the college was chosen as the Best Public University in the South for the 15th consecutive year.

“These accolades reflect the discipline, commitment, and camaraderie making our institution unique, and they are a direct result of the dedication demonstrated by our cadets, students, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters,” said The Citadel President Gen. Glenn Walters, USMC (Ret.), ’79.
