ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN) - A man is behind bars after two Elizabeth City stores were broken into this September, with one store broken into twice, days after the initial break-in.

Quinton Morris, of the 400 block of Bank Street, was arrested on three counts of felony breaking and entering and three counts of felony larceny after the fact.

Just before 3 a.m. on September 2nd, police responded to an alarm for a reported break-in at Dollar General in the 900 block of Oak Stump Road. Officers said they determined the area was clear and took notes of stolen items.
