The Transit Authority of River City is planning a major overhaul of its bus network in another effort to address a projected $30 million budget deficit by 2027 and to improve service in key areas.

Scudder Wagg, a consultant with Jarrett Walker + Associates, who assisted in redesigning the network, explained that the fundamental issue for cities like Louisville is a lack of investment.
