TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Florida could be the site of a future presidential library.

In a Tuesday press conference, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced plans to earmark a nearly three-acre piece of land in Miami-Dade County for the possible future site of the Donald J. Trump presidential library.

The land is currently used as employee parking for Miami-Dade College’s Wolfson campus. It’s located next to the Freedom Tower - a Miami landmark.

Florida Cabinet members and DeSantis will vote later this month on whether or not to offer the land for the Sunshine State’s first-ever presidential library.
