The results of Gillette College’s practice meeting with stand-ins for the Higher Learning Commission gave the college a passing grade for all four criteria they’ll need to meet during the real HLC meeting come October.

But while the college passed two criteria with high marks, two criteria were “met with concern” — with red flags about faculty support dominating the largest of the “opportunities” sections, where the three mock reviewers highlighted areas of improvement in various aspects of the college’s inner workings.
