A Scots Superbike star has awoken from a coma and spoken his first words, as the extent of his injuries were revealed in the wake of a horror crash earlier this month.
On Saturday September 6, Callum Grigor was left in a "serious" condition following a terrifying collision at Donington Park during the Pirelli National Superstock Championship race.
During the race, the 27-year-old from Wishaw was thrown off his bike while approaching Goddards Corner before colliding with Manx star Nathan Harrison.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and provided urgent care for both riders. Callum was placed into an induced coma and rushed to hospital in Nottingham.
