Peace Arch Hospital Foundation is seeking approval from White Rock council for a new medical use building – adjacent to the hospital – that could reach as high as 20 storeys.

The tower would be situated on Lot D, a 1.1-acre property across from the emergency department entrance, on the west side of the hospital, owned by the Foundation and currently used for parking.

Foundation chair Stephanie Beck, who appeared before council to present preliminary plans for the building Sept. 15 – along with PAHF board chair Neil Yarmoshuk and Marion LaRue, a partner in architectural firm DIALOG B.C. retained to assist with the design – said that, ideally, the building would be completed within the next decade.
