ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A crash in Escambia County sent a bicyclist to the hospital on Monday, Sept. 22.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol release, an SUV driven by a 69-year-old man from Pensacola was traveling south on North W Street. The bicyclist, a 60-year-old man from Pensacola, was traveling east on SR-25.

The bicyclist failed to yield to the SUV when entering the intersection, leading to a collision with the SUV at around 7:13 p.m.

While the bicyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries, he was taken to the hospital.
