Kaedyn Lipowski scored both of Southern’s goals in its 2-0 victory over Central Regional in Bayville.

Southern took an early 1-0 lead in the opening quarter before adding an insurance goal in the third quarter to secure the victory. Despite being outshot 6-2, Southern’s defense held strong throughout the game.

Emma Korenthal recorded five saves for Southern, earning the shutout.

Southern (5-2) extended its winning streak to three games and will host Middletown South on Thursday, while Central Regional (3-3) will travel to Lacey on Thursday.
