Authorities are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a vehicle in Hazel Green Tuesday night.

According to Don Webster with HEMSI, it happened on the 800 block of Butter and Egg Road just before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Webster says the man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

ALEA is continuing to investigate the wreck.
