Five years on from her departure from Australia Post , former CEO Christine Holgate says she still does not regret gifting Cartier watches, worth a total of $20,000, to four senior executives who steered the organisation through COVID-19, despite losing her job over the decision.

Holgate, who was exonerated by an inquiry and received compensation over the circumstances of her exit, has also taken aim at former prime minister Scott Morrison, who declared in parliament that if she did not wish to stand aside, "she should go".
