A second former City Hall staffer has filed a federal lawsuit against Mayor LaToya Cantrell's administration alleging the misuse of pandemic relief funds and termination in retaliation for raising concerns.

Former New Orleans American Rescue Plan Act Implementation Director Tricia Diamond claims she was fired in July while on approved medical leave after reporting that city officials misappropriated at least $15 million due to nonprofits, according to the complaint filed last week in U.S. Eastern District Court in New Orleans.
