Facing a potential $319 million funding gap in the state's Medicaid program, the House and Senate have overwhelmingly passed bipartisan legislation representing their resolution to the problem.

However, it doesn't appear that the House or Senate is interested — at least for now — in addressing, much less approving, the other chamber's Medicaid rebase bill.

As of Tuesday evening, the Senate has not posted its plans to consider the House's revamping of Senate Bill 403 that cleared by a 111-0 vote Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the House has placed into its Appropriations/Base Budget committee the Senate's revamping of House Bill 562 that passed by a 47-0 vote Monday.

Both chambers' Wednesday calendars were blank as of Tuesday evening.
