The town of Belville has two candidates running for mayor.

Belville residents will decide their next mayor in November: Nia Moore or Chuck Bost.

Though Moore and Bost are the only two candidates actively running in the race, former Belville Mayor Michael Allen filed for re-election before he died peacefully on July 30, 2025. Bost is currently acting mayor.

The Belville Board of Commissioners is run by four commissioners and one mayor. In the town of Belville, mayors serve two-year terms while commissioners serve for four years at a time.

Town Manager Athina Williams said the mayor makes $500 a month, $100 more a month than commissioner. The board does not receive any other benefits other than reimbursements for mileage to travel, Williams said.
