Podcaster Joe Rogan has torn into the temporary suspension of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night program, branding the move “f***ing crazy” and warning it could come back to bite those cheering it on.
The hugely popular podcaster, who openly backed Donald Trump in last year’s presidential race, said corporations caving to political pressure risked setting a dangerous precedent.
“First of all, I definitely don’t think that the government should be involved, ever, in dictating what a comedian can or cannot say in a monologue,” Rogan said, explaining he had only just weighed in because he’d been away on a remote hunting trip.
