LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAYS continue through Thursday as we continue to see rounds of scattered showers and storms roll through that could contain heavy rain. An isolated strong to severe storm can’t be ruled out either.
WEDNESDAY: FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY. Showers and thunderstorms that could be widespread at times continue to work through the area during the morning hours. Activity will continue to be scattered into the afternoon. The main threat with these storms will be heavy rainfall that could lead to localized flooding. A storm or two could be on the strong to severe side south and west of Lexington, with damaging winds the main threat. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s.
