A British holidaymaker was deported from Morocco after Ryanair staff allegedly refused to let her retrieve her passport from her plane seat.

Rebecca McCurry, 22, had just landed in Marrakesh with three friends when she realised she had left her passport on the plane.

Despite noticing her mistake within 'five minutes' of disembarking, she claims she was not allowed to go back aboard the aircraft to collect it. Ryanair staff reportedly told her that they had found nothing after 'sweeping the plane', although the airline later conceded in a statement that the passenger had 'misplaced their passport on board'.
