The boyfriend of a British yachtswoman who has been missing for four years has issued a bombshell five-page statement denying any involvement in her disappearance.

Former air hostess Sarm Heslop vanished from Ryan Bane's yacht, Siren Song, in the US Virgin Islands in March 2021.

The 49-year-old American has now broken his silence on the matter with an "open letter", in which he claimed he was unfairly vilified.

Mr Bane says there has been a "false sense of suspicion" hanging over him in recent years, the Mirror reports .
