STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY fought a fire at an apartment building in New Dorp early on Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported at 1 a.m. on the second floor at 30 Ebbitts Street near Hylan Boulevard, according to an FDNY and EMS spokesperson.
FDNY personnel from two engines and two ladder companies extinguished the blaze in less than an hour, by 1:58 a.m., according to the spokesperson
No injuries were reported in the fire, the spokesperson said.
