Citing concerns about utility prices, noise, water supply, morality, and transparency, Oregon residents are demanding that city officials hold a public meeting with the developer to discuss a multi-billion-dollar data center proposed for Corduroy and Wynn roads.

“I felt the information put out by the city has been a one-sided disservice to this community,” said Jim Davis of Oregon. “Many communities have felt a negative impact of data centers, with water quality and air pollution.”

He said he wants more transparency regarding the project.

“The residents of Oregon deserve to hear from both sides,” he said. “I urge members of this council to consider holding a public referendum to allow the citizens to ask questions of the developer and decide for themselves if this project is appropriate
