SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- After Tuesday's extremely hot conditions, Wednesday will be as much as 20 degrees cooler, especially inland. Highs will only peak in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Skies will be unsettled with a chance of showers and thunderstorms earlier in the day. Conditions will calm down after Wednesday with a slightly warmer day on Friday. Expect generally cooler conditions into next week.
