This comes after Rick Osterloh, Google’s Senior Vice President of Devices and Services, confirmed the development at the Snapdragon Summit, where he appeared alongside Qualcomm CEO Christiano Amon.

Until now, Google has maintained separate platforms for different categories: Android for phones and Chrome OS for laptops.
