BOARDMAN A Struthers man who made a false report of teens with a gun at a Boardman gas station learned his fate on Tuesday.

Nineteen-year-old Joshua Maizel-Anzevino pled guilty to a first-degree misdemeanor count of inducing panic in a Boardman courtroom Tuesday morning. A felony charge of swatting and a misdemeanor charge of falsification were dropped.

Maizel-Anzevino was sentenced to one year of probation, as well as 30 days of community service on the inducing panic charge.

The charge stems from an incident at the Sheetz gas station on Boardman-Poland Road where Maizel-Anzevino called police and told dispatchers that there was a group of teens pointing a gun out the window of a grey Jeep.

This report resulted in a felony traffic stop with officers drawing there guns at the teen
