DALLAS — One ICE detainee was killed and two others were wounded after a shooter "opened fire" on a Dallas ICE facility Wednesday morning, Department of Homeland Security officials said.

An ICE spokesperson said in an earlier statement that two ICE detainees were killed and a third was wounded, but DHS corrected that statement to say one detainee was killed and two others are in critical condition.

In the aftermath of the incident, officials are working to determine why and how the suspect, who was later identified as Joshua Jahn , may have carried out the attack.
