WILLISTON, N.D. – The City of Williston is anticipating a near-balanced Fiscal Year 2026 budget, which includes reductions in several areas including service changes related to public safety.

City Administration and Public Safety officials say the changes are designed to reduce costs while maintaining essential emergency services for the community. These changes include the elimination of several positions through attrition and the administrative “freeze” of current open positions, with emphasis that no layoffs will occur. The Williston Fire Dept will also present updates to their operations and response modules. kAm“%96 r:EJ @7 (:==:DE@? :D 4@>>:EE65 E@ 6?DFC:?8 E92E C6D:56?ED C6>2:?
