A 30-year-old woman is in critical condition after a multi-vehicle collision happened early Wednesday morning on Montreal’s South Shore.

At around 6:35 a.m., Longueuil police (SPAL) responded to a call at the intersection of John-Molson Street and Rte de l’Aéroport.

“Two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in a collision, and a streetlight was also struck,” the SPAL said. “Three people were injured, one seriously.”

In a Facebook post at around 8 a.m., the SPAL explained that traffic is completely blocked on Rte de l’Aéroport between Clairevue Blvd. and John Molson Street.

“Our teams remain on site to secure the area, determine the causes of the collision,” they said. “And support our emergency services partners.”
