SALT LAKE CITY — After “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was first removed from ABC’s broadcast indefinitely and then reinstated again on Monday, two affiliate owners of the station announced they will continue to preempt the talk show from local programming.

For Utah, this means Jimmy Kimmel’s show will be unavailable on any television station in the market starting on Tuesday, when it is expected to resume.

Sinclair Broadcast Group joined Nexstar Media Group , which owns the ABC affiliate in Salt Lake City, in the decision, meaning around 70 stations in the U.S. will be in the same boat.
