Talking about the Royal Family, the weather and our local boozers is what makes us British, according to boffins. ‌

A new study revealed the royals were the nation’s biggest obsession at 53%, followed by the weather (50%) and the pub (49%). The long-debated ritual of how to make the perfect cup of tea, the football results and our favourite Sunday roasts also came out on top. ‌

Debating what to have for dinner, the traffic and our hatred of queues were also well-know British traits. Findings show we discuss the weather and what’s for tea 11 times a week and the football results nine times a week. ‌
