LOGAN, Utah (ABC4) — First Lady Abby Cox received the 2025 Distinguished Service Award from Utah State University (USU) on Tuesday evening.

Alicia Richmond with USU said that the Distinguished Service Award is given to an individual who demonstrates exceptional commitment to advancing human flourishing through their service and initiatives.

First Lady Cox is a USU alumni. She graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in special education.

“I come from a long legacy of Aggies,” Cox said. “My grandparents, my mother, and all 10 of my siblings and most of their spouses were all Aggies.
