Canada will face the 11th-ranked Netherlands in a women's soccer friendly during the October FIFA window.
The venue for the Oct. 28 match has not been announced, but it will likely be in Europe, given the ninth-ranked Canadians are playing No. 24 Switzerland four days earlier in Lucerne.
“We’re excited to add another strong opponent to our calendar," Canada coach Casey Stoney said in a statement. "The Netherlands are a team that thrives on keeping possession and have some very creative attacking players, and with a new head coach at the helm, it will be a great test."
