PHOENIX - It’s been a warm and dry start to the week with temperatures continuing to warm before big changes ahead.

What To Expect This Week:

Warm and dry conditions will continue through Thursday in the Valley with a temperature reading of about 105 degrees for both Wednesday and Thursday.

By Friday, low pressure will move in to allow for temperatures to drop into the mid to low 90s through the weekend.

Rain chances will increase beginning as early as Thursday, with widespread rain chances Friday through the weekend.

Flood watches are in place for much of southeastern Arizona with excessive rain possible.

By next week, conditions look to be drier with temperatures mainly in the 90s.
