BUFFALO, N.Y. — An icon in the classical guitar community has died.
Joanne Castellani, a renowned Buffalo-based artist and performer, has passed away at 73.
Castellani shared a storied career with her husband Michael Andriaccio in the Castellani-Andriaccio Duo, which saw the pair take their talents to The White House and the Kennedy enter, and around the world.
Castellani and Andriaccio taught hundreds of students through the Castellani Andriaccio Guitar Studios in Amherst, NY.
