After wreaking havoc in many parts of the State, the southwest monsoon started withdrawing from Uttarakhand on Wednesday.

As per the Indian Meteorological department, the line of withdrawal of the southwest monsoon passed through Rampur, Haridwar, Muradabad, Etawah, Banswara, Vallabh, Vidhyanagar and Veraval on Wednesday. The conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of the SW monsoon from more parts of the Uttarakhand in two to three days. The monsoon is expected to withdraw completely from the State on September 25.
