HUNTINGTON (WV News) — Eye care company Alcon recently celebrated the completion of a $60 million project to expand its manufacturing facility in Huntington.

The Huntington facility, where the company has operated since 1989, produces intraocular lenses for cataract patients across the globe.

“At Alcon, we aspire to lead the world in innovating life-changing vision products because, when people see brilliantly, they live brilliantly,” said Patrick Collier, senior vice president of global manufacturing and technical operations at Alcon. "Today, we’re proud to showcase the completion of our more than $60 million capital improvement project that brings advanced technology and enhanced infrastructure to our Huntington campus.”
