A car crash involving a Mobile-bound Amtrak train in Pass Christian Tuesday night killed two people, according to Pass Christian police on Wednesday. The family of one of the victims started a GoFundMe page in her memory.

At around 7:14 p.m., the Pass Christian Police Department responded to the area of 300 Davis Avenue after receiving a report that a vehicle crashed into a train as it crossed the street. The Mardi Gras Service engine was on its way to Mobile at the time of the incident.
