LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The back-to-back weeks of music festivals in Louisville brought in crowds of people and millions of dollars.

According to a news release, Bourbon & Beyond and Louder Than Life welcomed almost 300 artists, and a combined record-breaking 450,000 fans across both festivals.

It was the 11th year for Louder Than Life and, according to the release, it was the biggest festival in the history of promoter Danny Wimmer Productions. The four-day festival saw the return of Slayer, was Avenged Sevenfold’s only U.S. headlining show this year and had Evanescence with Paul McCoy perform “Bring Me To Life” and livestream the entire set to over 13,000 viewers from around the world.
