LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Bourbon and Beyond and Louder Than Life once again left their mark on Louisville.

Organizers said the two festivals had a record-breaking year, with more than 450,000 visitors attending them over two weekends.

They did not provide individual attendance numbers for each festival.

According to Louisville Tourism, the festivals combined generated nearly $43 million in local economic impact.

During the two festival weekends, hotel occupancy reached more than 80 percent.

Dates for next year's festivals have already been announced, but this time Louder Than Life will be happening first from Sept. 17-20. Bourbon and Beyond will run the weekend after from Sept. 24-27.

My Chemical Romance was announced as the first headliner for Louder Than Life next year.
