PEKIN, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Tazewell County Health Department announced on Wednesday that it will be temporarily closing its Pekin location at 1800 Broadway St. for maintenance.

The closure will occur on Oct. 1 and will impact appointments with the Women, Infants and Children program, a health department news release said.

The health department said all impacted clients have been contacted and appointments have been rescheduled.

Services will still be available at the health department's other location at 21306 IL Route 9 in Tremont. Anyone with questions on clinic appointments can call 309-929-0294 or 309-929-0320 for WIC program appointments.
