INDEPENDENCE, Ky. (WXIX) - Newly obtained 911 calls are giving insight into the days leading up to Monday’s double murder-suicide in Independence .
“My stepdaughter’s ex-boyfriend is at her apartment and will not leave,” a 911 call says. “He’s not on the lease. She moved out here to get away from him. He’s threatening to kill himself in front of the kids.”
Days before the murder-suicide in Independence left three people dead, Heaven Glisson and her family called police about the suspect, Donald Bryant, according to 911 calls.
“He followed me out to the parking lot while I was trying to leave and was trying to get my phone, and grabbed it out of my pocket, and he took off back in the house,” the caller told 911.
