BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Luigi Mangione and his attorney are challenging a ruling that prevents him from appearing in person for his upcoming hearing in Blair County, scheduled for Nov. 7.

Mangione is facing charges in Blair County for allegedly possessing a gun and a fake ID during his arrest last year. This comes in addition to accusations of killing the CEO of United Healthcare, although he does not face charges for the latter in Blair County.

Attorney Tom Dickey, representing Mangione, argues that they have not received an official denial notice from a federal prosecutor, only an email from a data analyst, which they claim lacks proper authority.
