MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Federal prosecutors appealed a ruling granting a new trial for three former Memphis Police officers found guilty on charges related to the death of Tyre Nichols.
The appeal by the United States Attorney asked the United States Court of Appeals to determine whether former officers Tadarrius Bean, Justin Smith, and Demetrius Haley should be granted a new trial.
