WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- A man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a deadly August shooting in Southeast D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
Police said 35-year-old Richard Holmes was charged with first-degree murder while armed – felony murder for his involvement in the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Franck Foute Mohdjiom.
According to police, on Aug. 26, at around 12:30 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of Anacostia Road, SE.
There, Mohdjiom was found suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to the hospital by DC Fire and EMS, where he later died from his injuries.
