NEW YORK (PIX11) -- The weeks leading up to the New York City mayoral election are heating up, as major candidates continue to trade barbs.
On Monday, Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa slammed Eric Adams and Andrew Cuomo, accusing the latter of trying to bribe him out of the race.
Sliwa addressed members of the media, claiming the briberies were linked to Cuomo's campaign.
"This is classic Andrew Cuomo tactics. This has been steady, cumulatively around $10 million. Why don't you strap up Cuomo to a lie detection machine and ask him, and we'll all be blown to kingdom come because he's behind it," said Sliwa.
