KENSINGTON — POLICE ARE SEARCHING for a grown man accused of walking up to a 3-year-old girl in Kensington and shoving her to the ground, then fleeing. Police say the assault took place on Monday, Aug. 25, around 12:50 p.m. when the child was walking with her mother in front of 382 McDonald Ave., a few blocks from Green-Wood Cemetery. The child sustained an abrasion to her elbow but did not require hospitalization.

Police say the suspect fled northbound on McDonald Avenue to parts unknown. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, black pants, and gray sneakers.
