CLAYTON, Mo. – A 17-year-old will stand trial as an adult in the shooting death of another teenager in 2024.
According to a St. Louis County Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened around 12:50 p.m. on Aug. 20, at a home in the 300 block of Goetz Avenue in Lemay.
Officers arrived to find Amorion Fuller suffering from gunshot wounds to his neck. Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 16.
Police said Derion Davis, Fuller, and another juvenile were spending the night at the residence.
Sometime in the morning, Davis and Fuller got into an argument. Davis grabbed his gun and was able to take possession of Fuller’s gun as well.
