A shooter opened fire onto a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas on Wednesday, killing one detainee and injuring two others before taking his own life, authorities said.

The FBI said the shooting was a “targeted attack.” FBI director Kash Patel posted a photo showing shell casings, with one of them engraved with the phrase “ANTI ICE.”

“While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an ideological motive behind this attack. One of the unspent shell casings recovered was engraved with the phrase “ANTI ICE,” Patel said.
