MITCHELL — On Wednesday at the Persimmon Festival, a full slate of activities is set to deliver a diverse range of experiences, from morning art displays to an evening filled with gospel music and hometown flavors.
The day begins with the Art and Quilt Exhibit from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., showcasing the skill and creativity of local artists. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Puddin’ Pan tradition returns, offering visitors a taste of Mitchell’s most iconic dessert. At the same time, Main Street food booths open at 11 a.m. and continue serving until 10 p.m., ensuring festivalgoers can find their favorite treats throughout the day.
