PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A Providence man is facing drug and gun charges following a Rhode Island State Police investigation.
Joel Garcia, 47, was arrested after police executed court-authorized search warrants at his Portland Street home and an apartment on Dresser Street.
Investigators seized 1.7 kilograms of fentanyl, 2.3 kilograms of cocaine and 147 grams of methamphetamine, according to police, as well as a loaded gun.
Garcia is accused of using the apartment to store, package and distribute the drugs.
He is charged with possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine and unlawful possession of a firearm, among several others.
