LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Lansing police, alongside help from a four-legged comrade, arrested a robbery suspect over the weekend.

According to LPD, police were sent to a gas station on the city’s east side “over the weekend.”

Police say the suspect demanded cash before running away. Officers, alongside a Michigan State Police dog, tracked the suspect to an alley.

The suspect tried to run again, but was caught before he could escape.

The dog, named Scruggs, and all involved officers were unharmed. The suspect was arrested without further incident.
